All you need to know about getting to and from the conference venue

Can I Attend Online?

No. This conference will be held face-to-face only.

How do I get to the conference venue?

Parking at UQ St Lucia can be limited, but the campus is very well serviced by public transport. If you are coming from Southbank or Brisbane City, you can get the M2 Brisbane Metro (stops at Southbank, Cultural Centre, and King George Square). You can also get the CityCat ferry (stops at Southbank, North Quay, and Riverside).

Public transport fares are only 50c, but you will need to buy a ticket before boarding the M2 (ticket machines at the bus stations). You can buy tickets on board the CityCat

When should I arrive?

Registration will be open from 8am Wednesday 2 July and 8am on Thursday 3 July.

Is there a map of the venue?

Conference Program and Materials

Will printed copies of the program and the conference materials be made available?

We have made a conscious effort to minimise paper usage for this Conference, for both sustainability and efficiency reasons. All conference material and information is available on this conference website online.

What if I want to print conference materials?

We are not providing printing facilities at the Conference. If you wish to print Conference material you should do so before you arrive.

To print materials you should navigate to each page you wish to print and print it from your browser's print menu.

Can I access the Conference materials on my phone or tablet?

Yes. Use the same website address (https://alaa2025.netlify.app) on your phone and the website will adjust automatically to your phone or table's screen size.
